Today, we are focusing on the final details to help your Advent Season (which starts on December 2) be one of fruitful prayer and anticipation.
Knowing moms as we do, all the shopping, wrapping, decorating and cooking will be finished by Christmas Day.
We seem to always get it all done, don’t we?
Doing whatever we can ahead of time, building it into our regular homemaking and shopping routines is key to staying in control during these weeks. Celebrating Christ’s arrival, as well as protecting our sanity and our family’s well-being, must stay top priority–even if that means everything isn’t perfect. If there is one thing we want to do well, it’s focusing on Jesus.
We found these great devotions to do with your family at dinner. If you find dinner time to be stressful, do them somewhere else–even the front yard while they are playing. God’s word is available in all places and at all times. Don’t wait for a perfectly quiet moment–you’ll never get one. Just make it happen at a time when ears are open.
Keep us up to date with your progress! Everyone enjoys tips, ideas and encouragement.
We wish you a blessed Advent, a Joyous Christmas and an inspired New Year!
